Hungary, Budapest – Budapest now holds the record of the longest tramway in the world (55.9 meters) and which is running on line 1.
For now only one is in service but 12 more are expected by the summer. They are currently tested by the city. The new tram kept the colors of the older ones, but have new advantages. They are low-floored with a better accessibility, they are air-conditioned, fully-walk through vehicles, and the seats are easily accessible.
