Bulgaria – Bulgarian Parliament decided to hold the presidential elections on November 6, this year.
The GERB party proposed the date and the motion was passed in a 113-14 vote, with eight abstentions.
Socialists that wanted to hold the elections earlier on October, 23, and the Movement for Rights and Freedom (DPS) have both seen their propositions rejected.
The GERB party is headed by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
