Pilgrim bikers in Poland

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Poland, Częstochowa – On Sunday, April 17, 30,000 bikers met for the 12th time at the Marian shrine of Jasna Góra, an important place of pilgrimage in Poland.

Every year, bikers met before an open-air Holy Mass, to thank the Virgin Mary for having kept them safe the past year and receive a blessing for the upcoming year.

Jasna Góra monastery had been founded in 1382 by Pauline Fathers from Hungary invited by Władysław Opolczyk. The monastery has an icon of Black Madonna and several ten thousands pilgrims stop by this place each year.
