Czechia, Prague – The government would take the issue to court if the European Commission forced Czechia to accept the migrant relocation system, said Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka on TV Prima.
Sobotka hopes that a solution can be find with others EU members before so he doesn’t have to initiate judicial proceedings. According to the government the mechanism for redistribution of migrants isn’t viable, even on a small scale. Prime minister said that France, Germany and England were well more prepared for an important arrival of migrants, and are overwhelmed.
Besides the examples in other countries, the resettlement project of 150 Iraqi Christians in Czechia failed, after 49 of the 89 migrants that arrived left the country, most of them to cross German borders illegally last weeks. The project went cancelled.
