Hungary, Budapest – According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH),demographic decline in Hungary slowed down, comparing with January and February of the last year. Indeed the number of births increased by 0.5 % and the number of deaths decreased in 18 %.
It means that compared to January and February 2015, the rate of decline of the population fell by 41.7 %: -5,150 people in January, 2015, for -3,900 in January, 2016, and -6,410 people in February, 2015, for -2,850 in February, 2016.
