Polish Prime Minister visits Pope Francis

Vatican – May 13th, Pope Francis received Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo.

They talked about the next visit of the pope in Poland, which will take place in July for the World Youth Day  in Cracow. They also evoked the recent celebrations which took place in Gniezno and Poznan for the 1050 anniversary of the Baptism of Poland.

They focused on themes of mutual interest of such as the reception of migrants, then in a more global way peace and security, and the conflict in Syria. The talks remained cordial.
