Hungary, Kiskunhalas – A brawl broke out among detainees at a reception centre in Kiskunhalas, in southern Hungary, on Sunday night, the prime minister’s chief security advisor György Bakondi said.

According to HungaryToday, Bakondi said that some 20 Algerians, Syrians, Pakistanis and Mongols started a fight “first with fists then with broken furniture legs”. Later some 200 others “joined in the events”, he added. The police restored order at the migrant facility by the late evening hours. Nine people suffered light injuries.

This is not the first time such event happens in Hungary. Last month a riot started in this same camp.
